The President of the Commission Justice Hatcher reported that the Commission has set up a new pay equity and awards team to support the work of the expert panels that the Secure Jobs Act established from today.

 

It has also provided new information on the role of the expert panels, on gender pay equity and equal remuneration orders, while it has also published a new application form for equal remuneration orders.

Ministerial appointments are Sydney University Professor Marian Baird, RMIT University senior lecturer Dr Leonora Risse and former senior Treasury official Mr Mark Cully to the expert panels.
